Virgin Mobile, boost, Galaxy s SaskTel androida "Froyo" 2.2 update

One of the biggest gripes users to have with androida platform is the fact that it is so difficult to stay up to date. Of course this is not the fault of the consumers, but instead, the producers of hardware that are continually delayed the latest build of Android. One infamous case, this is the Galaxy S, which, here in the United States, you must obtain the latest update, 2.2 "Froyo" androida.

This quickly becomes a problem, especially since androida "gingerbread" makes its market is already 2.3. Fortunately, those of you with s Galaxy of Virgin Mobile or SaskTel would be happy to hear that they are already pushing, update. News comes to us from the Samsung Canadian Twitter account, which tells the two Virgin Mobile and SaskTel will join Bell as official suppliers of Froyo update.

This is great news for our neighbors to the North, but what about us here in the United States? This is quite ridiculous that a device, such as the Galaxy s have yet to obtain the update. What gives?
